Types of Rainwater Harvesting System
We offer a variety of rainwater harvesting systems, installed by our team of professionals. Our engineers help private home and business owners to save, store and utilise rainwater.
Basic rainwater systemsRainwater harvesting systems include stands and groundwater butts with a capacity of up to 400 litres. At Drain Doctor, we provide rainwater tanks with a greater capacity, as well as freestanding and submersible water pumps.
Aboveground rainwater systemsAboveground rainwater harvesting systems are known for their ease of installation. Capacities vary from 800-litre plastic tanks all the way up to 100,000-litre steel tanks for commercial and industrial units. Commercial clients looking to reduce their environmental impact may consider including the maintenance of a rainwater harvesting installation in a PPM agreement.
Underground rainwater systemsHaving limited space above ground doesn’t mean you can’t install a rainwater recycling system. An underground rainwater harvesting installation is an option. This solution however does require more complex excavation work as a pump will be required to distribute the rainwater from the tank.
At Drain Doctor, we believe in getting the job done right and as such, will recommend the best solution for the job. When it comes to drainage and rainwater systems, cutting corners may save some costs however the serious implications from this can generate even larger bills further down the line.
